I incorporate the following qualifications and experiences to help you get results:
Completed my BS in Psychology from the College of William & Mary in 2005. I was a pre-med major with a passion for science and other medical and behavioral type fields of study.
Worked at Barnes & Noble throughout college and was promoted to leadership/management before graduation. I gained invaluable leadership and business experience with B&N and then store management for Starbucks in Chicago.
Worked in a research lab in the Department for Brain and Psychological Sciences at Indiana University.
Completed MS. Ed. In Counseling and Counselor Education from Indiana University. During that time, I authored research papers on Sports Psychology and other topics regarding human behavior.
I was a mental health counselor at an agency in Knoxville, TN working with clients of all ages from 3 on through the lifespan. Focused on children in foster care.
Served in upper management overseeing 25+ staff members and multiple therapeutic programs across 16 counties.
Adjunct Professor of Psychology for King University where I taught Statistics, Cognitive Psychology and Lifespan & Development. I also completed graduate courses at University of Tennessee in the field of Sports Psychology in 2015.
I completed certification to become a Collaborative Divorce Coach. I was a founding member of the East Tennessee Collaborative Alliance. I’ve served as VP, President, and Marketing Chair. I continue to provide divorce coaching with this group of lawyers and financial experts. I am also a TN Supreme Court Rule 31 Mediator.
In 2015, I opened my own private practice called Knoxville Counseling Services. The business grew to 3 office locations and continues to serve the Knoxville Community. I sold my stake in the business in 2023 to focus solely on coaching.
I started Vantage View Coaching to focus on the well-being of lawyers and high-achieving professionals. I found the traditional therapeutic approach was not getting the results for these professional clients. After my own experience with burnout + sharing that approach with my clients, I changed solely to the coaching model.
Successfully changing your life is like climbing a mountain. Taking it one step at a time and partnering with an expert guide enhance your chances of reaching the summit.
